Description
Alterations in scapular function are associated with shoulder pain including rotator cuff disease, instability, and adhesive capsulitis. However, recent evidence suggests that resolving scapular dyskinesis is not associated with resolution of symptoms are predictive of arm injury in pitchers. Thus, a systematic approach that includes scapular position, muscle performance, and movement patterns is required to best understand the role of scapular dysfunction in patients with shoulder pain. This webinar will provide a scientific basis for the evaluation and treatment of scapular dysfunction based on the latest evidence and current clinical thought.
