Description
This one-day course is designed to teach you the principles of shoulder rehabilitation within the APPI Pilates method. All the elements of successful rehabilitation of the shoulder will be reviewed and linked to the appropriate exercises of stability, mobility, strength or stretch. The course will include a review of current theories of shoulder stability and how to assess the shoulder in an exercise and physical therapy environment. The practical element will focus on a step by step progression of shoulder rehabilitation from initial shoulder setting techniques all the way through to strength and conditioning of the shoulder complex. This course is relevant to all exercise and rehabilitation professionals and does not require experience of Pilates in order to attend.
