Description
“There is no health without brain health”. This statement comes from the XXIII World Congress of Neurology. This two-day comprehensive hands-on course will guide the participants through various treatment ideas for management of brain disorders with emphasis on stroke. The evidence based practice will be highlighted and includes the instructor’s own experience which will emphasize the impact of proper positioning, breathing exercises, modalities and orthoses on patient’s recovery after the stroke. Therapists will complete the course with the knowledge to teach the patient the fitness program to be used at home or otherwise away from the clinical setting.
