tools and examination techniques to
identify conditions and underlying
etiologies.
-Possess a resarch backed, thorough
understanding of ankle/foot diagnoses and
treatments

Description
LIVE WEBINAR APPROVED IN Illinois, Louisiana, Arkansas, Iowa and Utah. Check your state board for reciprocity
This course will begin with a discussion of abnormal biomechanics of the foot and ankle
with increased attention to resultant foot compensations resulting from aberrant proximal
structures of the lower quadrant. Conversely, there will be a discussion of foot postures
causing compensations in proximal structures. The course will address functional leg
length discrepancies and what structure is the cause of the discrepancy and where any
compensations occur. There will be discussion of recent contradictory evidence of planus
and cavus effects on proximal structures of the lower quadrant. The course also reviews
examination tools and techniques to enable the clinician to efficiently and effectively
diagnose conditions and understand etiology to allow improved treatment. Next there will
be a discussion that provides analysis into common and less common conditions of the
foot/ankle and offers research supporting the best treatment recommendations.
